Chef Mun at iLatina

Chef Mun. What can I say about this guy. He and his business partner Cary are all class, work like mad men and  always, ALWAYS deliver a serious injection of ‘holy crap that’s amazing’ to your palate. They have since up and moved to Mendoza to work with Casarena Winery serving dinner every weekend in the Barrel Room. A sad departure for us peeps here in Buenos Aires. However, last week we were lucky enough to have Mun and Cary return to BA for a couple of pop up events hosted by Santiago and Juan Camilo Macías at their closed door restaurant i latina. Chef’s Santiago and Mun teamed up and created a delightful 5 couse meal (I would have loved a little more sushi, but that’s just me) paired with wine from Casarena.

I’m super lucky to call these awesome gents my pals and I can’t wait for them to grace BA with their super yummy food and awesome energy very soon. Or maybe I will have to make a trip to Mendoza!
